Description
Breadfruit is rich in complex carbohydrates and fiber. This fruit is also a source of copper, manganese, vitamins E and K just to name a few. Breadfruit also provides some carotenoids, such as β-carotene and lutein, which are not present in white rice or white potato. It helps to reduce high cholesterol levels.
