Description
Bibb lettuce is smaller butterhead lettuce with soft leaves used primarily as a salad green but also works well as a wrapper for foods. Bibb was developed from Boston lettuce in the 1850s by John Bibb. Bibb lettuce is smaller than Boston and is considered the preferred variety.
