Red Cabbage (also known as Purple Cabbage or Red Kraut) has leaves that are colored dark red/purple but turn blue once cooked. Holding a flavor that is strong than that of Savoy Cabbages, it is often used raw for salads & coleslaw, and makes for the perfect side dish to almost any meal!Seasonal all-year round but best from November till December.
